I often hear people say that they struggle with woodland photography more than any other genre/habitat in landscape photography. In this short video and blog I wanted to share my thoughts about what the problems are in woodlands that can cause difficulty, and some potential solutions, all based on my own experience of a decade photographing the Caledonian Forest.
In the video I talk about:
1. Visual Complexity
2. Trees Blending Together
3. Challenging Light Conditions
4. Sky Too Bright
5. Uniformity of Colour
