The Caledonian ForestFor me one of the most iconic of all Cairngorm peaks is also one of the lowest. Carn Eilrig - the little Mt Fuji of Rothiemurchus as I think of it - is also one of the neatly symmetrical hills in Scotland, and often capture my attention as the light and weather plays around its slopes.
