In Golden Glory

A brief moment of truly majestic light, as the morning sun erupted from behind the clouds. In an instant the muted colours of morning were transformed into spectacular golds and greens. As I drifted in my canoe on the waters of the loch I was grateful that I happened to be in exactly the right place, the boat still with no ripples on the water, and my camera to hand. In less than ten seconds the light had faded again, leaving just a dazzling memory, and one very lucky photograph.
