The Caledonian ForestThe ruined 12th century castle of Loch an Eilean is one of the iconic sites of the Cairngorms. To try and find a more perfect composition than was available from the shore, I had to wade in to waist depth, trying to avoid causing any ripples on the water as the mist swirled around the island.
