Artist’s Statement:

I have always found that of all the Torridon peaks, it’s actually one of the smallest that captures my attention – Sgurr Dubh. Not only a fascinating peak to climb, with some of the most interesting and impressive terrain, but also one of the most beautiful peaks in Scotland, especially when viewed from the shores of Loch Coulin. With early autumn snow gracing the heights, and the autumn colours at their living best, the woods and hills of this Torridon shangri-la never looked better.
