Sands of Time
The HebridesGenerations of history lie over one another on Harris, with edges worn smooth like the ancient rocks of the island itself. The landscape is a combination of unbelievable ancientness, and endless renewal. The ruined chapel of Rubh an Teampaill is built over an ancient broch, and by the shore lazy beds streak the soil. The white sands are somehow reassuring in the way they wash away footprints twice a day.
