Sgurr Dubh and the Allt Gairbhe
TorridonSgurr Dubh is perhaps my favourite Torridon peak, despite the magnificence of its neighbours. The hill hides many extraordinary features on its steep flanks, but the sight of its shapely point rising above the rocky Allt Ghairbe as you drive into the glen from Kinlochewe is always a welcome one as you return to Torridon. Graced by early snows, it made for the perfect backdrop on this stunning autumnal day.
