Slioch is a mountain that you can simply sit and watch for hours - enthralling as any movie, as the weather and light drift and play across its flanks. I have always found the view from the north end of the loch to be the most compelling, the mountain seeming to me like a hooded figure with arms outstretched. Embracing, encompassing, enveloping the land and all within.
