Three Pine Island – Slattadale
Loch MareeA stunning moment in which the sky itself earned the weight of the attention, rather than the land itself. Since the moment I captured it, this has always been one of my personal favourite images. The composition was a complete gift, mixing a wonderful colour gradient in the sky with the silhouetted pines, and a frame that was completely clear of any distractions. Sometimes landscape photography is a challenge, but sometimes it is simply laid out in front of you.
